iPhone versions of almost all Google sites and services, it was interesting to know that Google has not still created a Google Talk app for iPhone and iPod Touch. After I got excited with the Twitter app for iPhone, my next goal was to find a Google Talk app for iPhone and iPod Touch but I was very sad to realize that no such app exists yet.googletalkiphone.jpg
However this does not mean that we are out of techniques to use Google Talk on iPhone and iPod Touch.
One way to chat with your Google Talk contacts on your iPhone or iPod Touch is to use a web version of Google Talk provided by eBuddy. Note that the official web version of Google Talk provided by Google does not work on iPhone or iPod Touch as it runs on Adobe Flash which is a lacking feature in the iPhone.
Just open Safari on your iPhone and iPod Touch and visit the following link:Ebuddy
Tap on Google Talk Mobile and login with your credentials. You can then chat to your Google Talk contacts the way you like.
This trick has been tested by me and works not only for the iPhone or iPod Touch but for any other mobile device which does not support flash version of Google Talk.
